Ms. Fujie received her A.B. degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1975 with great distinction and a double major in Political Science (high honors) and Economics (honors) and her J.D. at age 22 from UC Berkeley’s Boalt Hall School of Law in 1978, where she was Articles Editor of the California Law Review.  She has been married to her Boalt Moot Court Advisor, attorney Lee Cotugno, since the day after she graduated in 1978, and they have two children, Sabrina (20), a junior majoring in Character Animation at California Institute of the Arts, and Thomas (13), an eighth grader.

The Dale Minami Public Interest Fellowship

In addition to honoring alumni and leaders who have made significant contributions to the Asian Pacific American legal community, the Dinner raises funds toward the endowment of the Dale Minami Public Interest Fellowship, which provides critical financial support to outstanding individuals who commit to serving the public interest. Minami Fellows are selected for their diverse backgrounds, record of exceptional academic and professional accomplishment, leadership in community service, and commitment to social justice and public interest work. The 2011 fellowship recipient will be honored at the event.

We invite you to support this important endeavor by attending our dinner and/or by serving as an event sponsor. The dinner offers a great opportunity for Boalt alumni to reconnect with former classmates. It is also the ideal venue for law firms and members of the business community to meet Boalt students and alumni.
